NXT Battleground 2024 recap

A very disappointing and underwhelming pay per view, very strange for us here at Wrestling Crossroads to ever say that or even for Brother Pyro to walk away during a show.  Congratulations to Oba Femi for retaining his title along with Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Here at Wrestling Crossroads we are all a bit disappointed in the rest of the matches. We believe it was too early for Kelani Jordan and the way that they ended the ladder match was rushed. The Underground match was nothing of what it should've been you could very much tell that the women were holding back with their punches and the ending was just as bogus as the referee stoppage in 2019 in Hell in a Cell between Seth Rollins and The Feind, booking Lola Vice to beat Shayna Baszler was the wrong choice. The main NXT championship matches were very underwhelming and lack luster, Ethan Page and Trick Williams seemed very sloppy and the women’s title match ended the story before it began.
