NXT Deadline 2025: Chaos and recaps

Deadline opens up with the NXT championship match Oba Femi looking to regain the title he claims he never lost against defending champion Ricky Saints. Oba dominated around 80% of this match only falling short to Ricky a handful of times but ultimately picking up the win and becoming your NEW NXT Champion OBA FEMI. Oba will go on to Saturday night main event where he will stand across the ring from WWE Champion Cody Rhodes one on one. Women's Iron Survivor match comes next as Kenlani Jordan and Kendal Grey start us off, Kendal scores her first fall just before the next competitor Jordynne Grace makes her appearance. Lola Vice comes out 4th and immediately puts the women on notice by picking up her first fall on Kendal Grey, Sol Ruca comes in last and after an attack was taken to the back and given a brace. At 15 minutes in Jordynne Grace scored her first fall and at 17 minutes and 40 seconds left all women are tied a 2 points each, Kendal Grey picks up her 3rd point to win the match with 10 seconds left on the board. Ethan Page takes on and takes down Mr Iguana with the NXT North American championship on the line in quick fashion. Izzie Dame vs. Tatum Paxley a match and tale of betrayal as Izzie Dame along with The Clunnings played into Tatum's emotions throughout the match using them against her anytime she picked up momentum. The match came to an end when they presented dolls to Tatum and then ripped the head off her doll giving Izzie the upper hand and the win. Men's Iron Survivor match was chaos to say the least Je'Von Evan and Leon Slater start our field off with Miles Borune enter 3rd upon his own pick followed by Dion Lennox and Joe Hednry. Each man was able to pick up a single point in their favor before Je'Von pulled Myles Bourne into an inside cradle pin at the final seconds giving him the second point making him the Iron Survivor! John Cena sure did a beautiful job at picking the opponents for these matches showing all of us exactly what this next generation is ready to bring to the table.
